With the Altum turbine we will unlock predictable, renewable energy to empower communities and accelerate the energy transition.
Our nimble turbine, designed with a small number of parts and a modular construction, can be deployed where larger turbines cannot.
With a proportionately large nose-cone and short blades, the Altum turbine has proven to retain its efficiency in slow-flowing water and can generate up to 7 times the power of an equivalent solar PV unit.
The Altum turbine generates predictable power in all conditions and does not suffer from intermittency like wind and solar.
Eco-friendly and low visibility design proven to operate in sensitive environments with minimal adverse effects on the environment or marine life.
Altum turbines can be deployed in arrays to increase system stability and reliability, removing a single point of failure risk as seen with larger turbines deployed on their own.
Proprietary software, H2IO, monitors and optimises blade tip speed whilst enabling remote management of turbine operations and performance.
